a bit more about me
I came to London in 2017 on what was then called the Tier 2 visa. I'd done my homework, but nothing prepares you for British bureaucracy, the NHS sign-up dance, or trying to open a bank account without a UK address. I learned by getting things wrong, mostly.
Now I work in product at a fintech and mentor on the side. My favourite people to work with are the ones who feel slightly out of their depth and slightly embarrassed about it — that was me. We'll talk through your visa file, your salary expectations, your accent panic, and the unspoken things about UK workplace culture that nobody puts in the relocation pack.
